Three adults escaped safely after a fire broke out at a residence in Spanish Fork around 4 p.m., according to Spanish Fork Fire officials.
The fire occurred at a building located behind Waffle Love and Little Acorn. The structure had previously operated as a restaurant before being converted into a residence.
Three adults were inside the building when the fire began. All three occupants were able to evacuate safely before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters responded to the scene and worked to contain the blaze. Officials said they did not believe the structure would be considered a total loss, although the extent of the damage was still being assessed.
