According to investigators, the fatal collision happened at approximately 1:15 a.m. near the intersection of North DuPont Boulevard and North Walnut Street. Delaware State Police and Milford Police responded after receiving reports of a serious two-vehicle crash.
Authorities said Webb was riding a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on North DuPont Boulevard as he approached the intersection. Investigators determined that the motorcycle failed to stop at a traffic signal before colliding with a gray GMC Acadia SUV that was turning left onto North DuPont Boulevard from Warner Road.
The collision was severe. Webb was ejected from the motorcycle in the impact, while the GMC Acadia continued forward and struck a fire hydrant and utility pole. The SUV sustained disabling damage.

Despite those efforts, authorities were later notified that Webb had died from his injuries. His death turned a serious overnight collision into a devastating loss for his family, friends and the wider Milford community.
The driver of the GMC Acadia, a 17-year-old male, was reportedly not injured in the crash.
Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision. Authorities are reviewing the movements of both vehicles, the traffic signal and other evidence collected from the scene as they work to establish the complete sequence of events.
